Through paintings, linoleum block prints, sketches, and collages, I capture impressions of the environments I move through—both natural and constructed. My work is rooted in observation, memory, and a sense of place.
Unfold ink
Unfold ink is a body of work that features streetscapes and landmarks in and around Rhode Island. This project began as a series of gifts for friends and family but it quickly grew into a small business. Prints continue to be available for purchase at Craftland in Providence.
Collage is a place where I love to play. I pull drawings, paintings and prints together to rework images that I was thought of as “done”. It’s a time when familiar work takes on a new form with new surprises.
My sketchbook goes with me everywhere. From room to room in my house, on trips, to work, on walks.
